Psychotherapy / Clinical Mental Health Counseling

Many of us reach out when we feel the need for support, or help working through challenging times. Sometimes we face challenges we think are too difficult to manage alone. San Francisco Counseling Collective believes in taking a strength-based, person-centered approach to psychotherapy, working with you to help you grow toward your best self. The familiar ways you have of dealing with life's complications may not be working; together we can work to identify new positive means of change.

When a person realizes they have been deeply heard, their eyes moisten. I think in some real sense they are weeping for joy. It is as though they were saying, ‘Thank God, somebody heard me. Someone knows what it’s like to be me’
— Carl R. Rogers

We work in an integrative model of psychotherapy from a person-centered orientation, and have experience with solution-focused, CBT, narrative, existential/humanist therapies, and other methods. No two clients are alike, and we collaborate with our clients to plan customized therapy for each person.

We’ve Moved to a new clinic space!

As of March 1, 2024, we will be located in our new clinic in the Castro District (4200 18th Street at Collingwood). We look forward to meeting with our clients in the new space, which is much more convenient to public transportation (one block from the Castro Street MUNI station), and will allow for our continued growth.
